[Student_programs3] Scholarship Opportunities

Each year NC Space Grant awards $2,000 scholarships to undergraduate
students who plan to attend an affiliate institution and are pursuing
careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Applications are evaluated based upon the student's academic achievement,
letter of recommendation, and exhibited leadership qualities. Further

NASA summer internship applications are also open. Students who are
interested in NASA or other federal or industry internships should apply
to these programs directly through the NASA field center website. NC Space
Grant may provide supplementary funding to support these experiences.
Students MUST complete an application, however, for either a Graduate
Research Fellowship or Undergraduate Research Scholarship in order to be
eligible for these supplementary funds. Information on specific internship
