NC Space Grant 2007-08 Funding Opportunities for High School Students
Entering College During the 2007-08 Academic Year - APPLICATION DEADLINES
FAST APPROACHING
Each year NC Space Grant awards undergraduate scholarships to students
attending its member institutions.  Each of these programs is focused on
students who are pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, and
mathematics.  Please visit the program website for more information.  
 
Undergraduate Scholarship Program - APPLICATIONS DUE FEBRUARY 16, 2007

Award:     $1,000
Eligibility: Freshman, Sophomores
 
Applications for the NC Space Grant Undergraduate Scholarship Program are
now open.  Each year, NC Space Grant awards $1,000 undergraduate
scholarships to students attending its member institutions who are pursuing
careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). At the
end of the academic year scholarship recipients submit a final report
detailing the aero/space-related research and education that is conducted on
their campus.  Applications are evaluated based upon the student's academic
achievement, letter of recommendation, and exhibited leadership qualities.
