Engineering students in senior design classes may apply. The maximum award available per student design team is $2,000. Funds can be used to support student senior engineering design projects (i.e., to buy materials, build prototypes, etc.) or to bring in subject matter experts to consult with the students. Equipment purchases are not allowed. Projects must be chosen from the list found on the ESMD Space Grant Program website: . Application information is available online at: . The topic is ?Design of an Integrated Crew Health Care System for Lunar Outpost Missions.? (See ) Diagnostic tools will be utilized as part the health care system in long-term missions to the moon. Student teams are invited to submit proposals directed at identification of critical, technical problem areas.
